Course Description:

This hands-on course is intended for the general practitioner with the purpose of exposing them to new dental materials and techniques in the field of ceramics in esthetic dentistry.


This course will increase your knowledge on:


  1. Different preparation designs following minimal enamel removal principles 

  2. Impression techniques

  3. Fabrication and cementation of temporaries 

  4. Ceramic substrate selection

  5. Laboratory communication

  6. Advanced rubber dam isolation techniques for better control of the operative field

  7. Cementation protocols 


At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:


•  Select the correct indication for porcelain veneers

•  Select the appropriate preparation design base on esthetic needs

•  Select the appropriate shade and create a color map to communicate with the lab

•  Obtain a detailed impression on the first attempt every single time

•  Recognize the benefits of CAD-CAM technology in modern dentistry

•  Select the right substrate for the final restoration based on esthetics and function

•  Select the correct cementation protocol based on the best available evidence

The course will be held at the Le Meridian Hotel in Atlanta, GA on Friday, September 15, or Saturday, September 16, 2023 (2 sessions offered), from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Maximum participants: 15 per group.
